„le fete d été“- das Festival im AZ Conni

Am 17. und 18. Juli findet ein kleines aber feines Festival unter dem schönen und zur Jahreszeit passenden Namen „le fete d étè“ im AZ Conni statt. Neben gepflegten musikalischen Darbeitungen vom feinsten mit dem vom Haus gewohnten auch inhaltlichen Anspruch gibt es als Rahmenprogramm jeweils vegane Vokü, verschiedene Distro- und Infostände sowie am Sonnabend eine Lesung mit dem TRUST-Herausgeber Dolf Hermannstädter. Der Eintrittspreis liegt am Freitag bei 8, am Sonnabend bei 10 Euro, das Zweitagesticket kostet 15 Euro.

Lesung Dolf Hermannstädter: „Got Me? Hardcore-Punk als Lebensentwurf“

NADJA is a duo of aidan baker + leah buckareff from toronto, canada making music that encompasses experimental/drone, ambient, shoegazer, + doom metal.
originally formed by baker in 2003 as a solo endeavour, buckareff joined in
2005 to bring nadja out of the studio + into a live setting. they have since released numerous albums with several different labels + have toured extensively in north america + europe.

DEATH SENTENCE: PANDA! are Kim West, Paul Costuros and Chris Dixon - a trio of San Franciscan musicians associated with the Bay Area’s lively rock underbelly. Death Sentence: Panda! have a playful and unique sound. Their music draws heavily on traditional Chinese and Korean folk music, ragtime, New Orleans-style marching bands and hardcore punk. Cropped and impulsive pop songs bubble over with exuberance, forever underpinned by the group s unusual instrumentation of pitch-shifted clarinet, flute, xylophone and drums. Add to this mix Kim West s impassioned and oft-spooked vocal and Death Sentence: Panda! come into their own.

MISS EDITH: The voice is clear, the writing is lively, the melodies are brilliant, instinctive, intrepid. When the music stands out and turns into plots, Miss Edith invites, entertains, fascinates. Behind Miss Edith s music, Charlotte Dechaume leads us into a sparkling, cosmopolitan universe.

whithout any mannersism , guitars worthy of Regina Spektor s piano intermingle with etheral singing, sometimes raging, sometimes broken, with the verve and the meaningfullness of a PJ Harvey or an Amanda Palmer. If Miss Edith isn t Charlotte Dechaume, Charlotte Dechaume is Miss Edith. Duet for a solo or one woman band in a one woman show, when Miss Edith schemes, her music is bewitching and stimulating.

LES TRUCS like to construct things and collect stuff. Both of them just bought some analo synths/drum- computer/strangemicrophone-stuff. They already tried out a few electronic songs in their own livingrooms. To concquer the distance between the two livingrooms les trucs finish eight songs by sending tracks via internet and after a few days in the rehearsal room, the idea of "les trucs" is realized. four bags of instruments and many cables, pressuring weird beats, noise contra catchy melodies and screaming out the boredom of tramways and plastic flowers by male and female voices is the conclusion. You may slightly be reminded of the voice and lyrics from „antitainment“ which is tobi s old bandproject, or "latah movement"
where charlotte (scarlet scamper) plays the synth, too. The next time, you might see see les trucs with some video projections of an audience clapping their hands accompained by a choreography of ten dancers with midi guitars.
Maybe they ll quit in two weeks. who knows.

DOLF HERMANNSTÄDTER, bekannt als Hardcore-Aktivist und Herausgeber des renommierten Trust-Fanzines, liest aus seinem aktuellen Werk "Got Me?
Hardcore-Punk als Lebensentwurf". Hermannstädter, der sich seit 1986 mit seinem Fanzine um die Hardcore- und Punk-Szene mehr als verdient gemacht hat, versammelt darin alle seine Kolumnen, die im Trust zwischen 1986 und
2007 erschienen sind.
Im allgemeinen bezeichnet der Begriff Moral ja das, was als richtiges Handeln angesehen wird, sei es von einem Individuum, einer Gruppe oder einer ganzen Kultur. In diesem Sinne ist Dolf ein durchaus als moralisch zu bezeichnender Mensch. Allerdings ohne die ansonsten oft zu beobachtenden ideologischen Scheuklappen und nervige Bescheidwisserei. Seine Maximen
lauten: Denkt selbst, lasst euch nicht von Moden blenden, packt Sachen an und vor allem: seid ehrlich, zu anderen und zu euch selbst. Im Laufe der Trust Jahre schrieb er immer wieder gegen die Doppelmoral an, die auch in der HC-Punk-Szene existiert, womit er sich sicherlich nicht nur Freunde innerhalb der Community, wie man es neudeutsch nennen würde, gemacht hat.
Dabei pflegt Dolf eine erfrischend direkte, mitunter schnoddrige Sprache.
Aber, wie Trust-Schreiber Jan Röhlk im Vorwort zum Buch schon feststellte, "Dolf ist Dolf in allen Lebensbereichen, wer kann das in dieser Konsequenz schon von sich sagen?"
