Am 17. und 18. Juli findet ein kleines aber feines Festival unter dem schönen und zur Jahreszeit passenden Namen „le fete d étè“ im AZ Conni statt. Neben gepflegten musikalischen Darbeitungen vom feinsten mit dem vom Haus gewohnten auch inhaltlichen Anspruch gibt es als Rahmenprogramm jeweils vegane Vokü, verschiedene Distro- und Infostände sowie am Sonnabend eine Lesung mit dem TRUST-Herausgeber Dolf Hermannstädter. Der Eintrittspreis liegt am Freitag bei 8, am Sonnabend bei 10 Euro, das Zweitagesticket kostet 15 Euro.

GHOSTLIMB is a three-piece from southern California formed in 2006.
Presenting ridiculously pissed hardcore with the elements of melody, thrash and general poor disposition, Ghostlimb compile all the rage a minute long song can handle with sprinklings of social critique and dissatisfied sarcasm. In mid-2008, their second full-length, "Bearing & Distance," was released, promising to clock in near the choice twenty-minute mark and riddled with succinct aesthetics of the fast, heavy and tolerably informed.
Ghostlimb is the brainchild of Graf Orlock s main songwriter and riffmonger Justin Smith and these eleven songs make up their debut release. The songs are less grind than those of Graf with more of a Catharsis, Swallowing Shit, and His Hero Is Gone influence.

GRAF ORLOCK is a cinema-grind band from California, who weave an intricate mesh of conceptual brutality. Through the vehicle of late 80’s and early 90’s action films, Graf Orlock create a potent social commentary in a theme that permeates lyricism and live shows. Their new release on Level-Plane Records, Destination Time Yesterday, explores a wide range of critical topics through the medium of concise, intense, and aesthetically rhythmic songs, coming to fruition in a chaotic sensory barrage. Their newest record „Destination Time Today“ (on adagio830) is the third installment of Graf Orlock’s chronology bending cinema-grind trilogy begun in 2006 and 2007. This new testament to nebulous ideas and bodily harm surveys such time honored themes as presidential assassination, robotic domination, and the pitfalls of pre-historic survival. Aesthetically, „Destination Time Today“ continues a barrage of thrash and incomprehensible anger, while interweaving a filthy compliment of slow and grating depression, all within a two minute framework of ill- imagined social commentary. With a Jan 2009 East Coast tour, and Summer 2009 Euro Tour, Graf Orlock aim to inspire a cynical rebellion so infuriating, they hopefully won’t live to witness it.

KAM:AS sind angekommen. Nach den ohnehin schon groß angelegten Entwürfen "A Gap In Building" (2003) und "Bric-A-Brac" (2005) und ihrem legerem Ausflug in dunkel fließenden Folk auf "Panic Among Whales" (2007) liegt seit April 2009 nun wohl das Meisterstück vor, ein in alle möglichen Elemente gehauener Monolith namens “Neverstate“. Überwiegend live eingespielt und aufgezeichne, legen Kam:as das Zeugnis einer Reife ab, eines Wachstums einer der seltsamsten, interessantesten und widersprüchlichsten Bands auf Sinnbus Records und - ach was! - im ganzen Land! Mit hörbarer Leichtigkeit schütteln Kam:as ein wie aus einem Guss entstandenes Album aus dem Ärmel, dass so intuitiv und so konstruiert, so hoch konzentriert und so locker in einem ist. Wahnsinnige Stücke, voller spannender Brüche und ständig aneinander prallender Gegensätze, die einen großen Bogen über Mathematik, Aufruhr, Philosophie und bunte Malbücher ziehen, die von Sonic Youth zu Deerhoof, von Breach zu den Beatles springen, und die vor allem den mehr als sonst in der Mitte thronenden, reich kolorierten Gesängen eine Spielwiese bieten.
